All roads lead to the world-renowned Mount Panorama Racing Circuit, Bathurst NSW on the weekend for the 5th annual running of the Bathurst Autofest.

A feature of the event is the burn-out competition, where drivers often burn their tyres down to the rims, in a bid to create the most smoke and noise possible – pleasing the large crowd in the process.

Cars of all makes and models took part in this year’s event – including an old taxi with drivers often lost in a fog of tyre smoke visible across Bathurst.

The Bathurst Autofest will be held in and around the month of March over the next five years making for a busy time of year for the facility with both the 12-hur and six-hour car races also operating in February and March.
