It’s that time of year again, the NSW Government’s popular Local Sport Grant Program is taking applications for funding to improve facilities, infrastructure and sport access.

The aim of the program is to increase regular and on-going participation in sport and active recreation, resulting in healthier, happier lifestyles. Sport plays a crucial part in our day to day lives for health, fitness and bringing local communities together.
The Local Sport Grant Program provides funding for sports clubs right across NSW and assists volunteers improve facilities and participation levels.
Many of our grassroots clubs rely on the dedication of volunteers – largely former players and families, fundraising and working bee’s to help maintain and improve facilities.
This program provides financial assistance to enable these groups to improve facilities and grow participation in a variety of sports across the state.
The NSW Government is committed to delivering the best infrastructure and services to the people of NSW and the Local Sport Grant Program provides funding opportunities for every single community across the state – so I encourage all eligible groups to get your applications in!
