Pete Van Sint Jan exceptional at the Panorama
Teaming in with Halloween festivities at the Panorama Hotel, Blue Mountains musician Pete Van Sint Jan brought his laid-back, easy listening tunes to the venue last Saturday night.
Continuing to swoon with his passionate voice, Pete delivered some unique takes on popular songs, with every single song sporting a distinctly original edge.
A pleasing feature of Pete as a musician is that there are no limits to what he’s willing to tackle, with songs by Bruno Mars, David Guetta and Ed Sheeran included amongst older hits by Pink Floyd, Stealers Wheel and Hunters and Collectors.
With an outstanding commitment to gigging, Pete regularly performs gigs in the Central West, as well as Sydney and the Blue Mountains, either by himself or with wife Meg Hayes as the duo Serotonin.
Evidenced by his ability to transpose popular songs and make them his own, Pete has a fantastic ear for music, and his clever use of loops add significant weight to his sound.
It was another fantastic performance by Pete Van Sint Jan, which has added to his growing presence in the Bathurst live music scene.
