City Hall at BMEC came alive on Friday night for the annual V8 Ball.
This year, nine young men and women took part in the ambassador program raising well over $10,000 for the 2BS and Lions Club Christmas Miracle Appeal.
City Hall was packed with guests and the night was hailed a success by organiser Deb Campbell.
Entertainment was supplied by Andy Mammers and Crash Avenue, who had the dance floor packed during the usual sedate “dinner set”.
Bathurst lady, Lisa Maquire, was awarded this year’s V8 Ambassador, while Sarah Driver won the award for the highest fundraiser.
Wife of motorsport legend Peter Brock, Bev Brock, spoke to the crowd as did V8 driver Chaz Mostert, who missed the dress code notification and attended with his trademark cap on backwards.
The crowd was also entertained by the burlesque troupe Dancin’ Divas, rounding what was a wonderful night’s entertainment.
