Bathurst City Life is an independently owned and local community newspaper/magazine that sets out to Capture the Spirit of Bathurst. We believe in contributing to a greater cause, adding value, making a difference and having a positive impact on people’s lives.
The way we do that is by being genuine in how we approach local news so that it’s not a manufactured reflection of who we are. Who we are with our clients and staff, is who we are at home, is who we are with friends.
In our articles we talk with people rather than at them. We prefer to have a conversation with someone rather than tell them how to think, that is how we encourage our journalists and photographers to behave, in other words to get to know the person before doing business or telling their story.
We can only do our best job when we know your business. We are known to, and will, knock back business, or an article,if we don’t believe what they do is ethical.
As an independent publisher, we have strong principles that we stand and live by.
We do what we can to assist new businesses to raise their profile, and we strongly believe in the pay-it-forward approach when assisting local business.
We are fully committed to making Bathurst City Life the leading print media in Bathurst. And the proof is in the pudding, at a time when traditional newspapers have flagging circulation – ours has tripled in the past two years.
If you like what we stand for editorially, or if you would like to partner with us in business, we’d love to start a conversation.
